Monument Chapter, NSDAR, members participate in various projects to help preserve our cultural heritage such as restoring and maintaining historical sites, restoring and preserving gravesites and headstones, contributing to restorations, commemorations and memorials, placing monuments to preserve history, and preserving genealogical records and historical documents.

Monument Chapter, NSDAR, love of country is demonstrated in the various patriotic endeavors pursued such as placing wreaths at Fort Snelling, placing flags on Flag Day at Fort Snelling, providing volunteer hours to veteran facilities or services, offering support through care packages, sponsoring programs to promote Constitution week, or presenting patriotic awards to deserving individuals.

Monument Chapter, NSDAR, is passionate about educating the youth of America and contributing to school programs such as supporting DAR schools, donating funds to American Indian schools, providing scholarships and awards to outstanding students in Minnesota, promoting education and citizenship through youth programs such as C.A.R. and DAR Good Citizens, and sponsoring American History Essay Contests for youths grade five through eight.

We make a difference in our communities by giving back and helping those in need. Monument Chapter, NSDAR, promotes Minnesota history, contributes to conservation and cleanup projects such as recycling and reusing, and the annual Wildflower Seeding event.
